Annie Sherburne is passionate about art, and the sustainability of people, skills and materials. Her life and work are dedicated to the production of beautiful things that represent our modern age by linking inspiration from the past with today's technology, economy and means of production.
Her work is included in a large number of private and public collections including major national museums in London, Paris, New York and Trondheim as well as the British Craft Council National Collection.
Tufted Rugs/Wall Hangings - ecological
landscape and brights inspired by the sea (including a shoal of fish)
Sculptural Textiles - felted soft cobbles in many forms
Ceramics - sculptural ceramics for domestic use in high fired
earthenware
Wallpaper - inspired by soft cobbles dna, the unique look
of digital sculpture carried into printing and the end product.
Beadwork - jewellery inspired by lichen
Mosaic - jewellery made in batch production using semi-precious stones and
beads.
