Sally Cartwright.
Sally Cartwright hand-dyes
and traditionally hand-weaves her fabrics, often encorporating exciting and
unusual materials. Her workranges from delicate hangings to structural works
using plastics and glass.
She is inspired by the colour, geometry and light of urban city scapes exhibits
in UK and Europe and works to commission
Carol Farrow.
Making pulp from cotton fibres is the
starting pint for the paper and paper clay work of Carol Farrow. She uses
a traditional western papermaking frame to laminate sheets together whilest
wet. The paper is then dried, sized, altered, assembled, painted and waxed.
Her inspiration stems from architecture, costume, objects and surfaces worn,
deteriorated or affected by age and her present preoccupation is the relationship
between the two and three dimentional.
Carol exhibits her work in Uk and Europe and has completed both private and
public commissions.
Pulp and Weave 19th June - 15th July
